Fish Fungus treatment question(water changes)?

One of my fish has a fungus disease on him(cotton looking)

The medicine didn't say anything about waterchanges other than at the very end of the medication usage. I was wondering if I do any small water changes during the treatment at all(since I have to remove the filter for a week or so)
 
you dont have to remove the filter as long as you dont have carbon. carbon is the substance that will remove the treatment, so if you dont have any, then you dont need to remove your filter. and generally, you shouldnt do water changes when you're treating try putting the diseased fish into another tank and treat that one?
 
No- leave everything as it is and only do as the medication tells you to do. Everything should be fine after the treatment.
