I am currently starting up a new aquarium and while i am waiting for the tank to be ready for the fish my old tank heater and pump have stopped working today(the tank is quite old).my new tank is only 3 days old, do i keep them in the old tank and risk losing them or moving to the new and losing them anyway? please help!

Make sure you get you new tank running first with 1/4 to 1/2 of the water your old tank. once that is done let it run for at least a couple of hours with the new pump. But as for the fish they should be fine for a day or two without a pump but the need a heater. You might start to get foggy water but that's just because you do not have a pump running. When you finally put the fish in you should float them in a bag for 15 min just like any other new fish. Hope that helps!

Hm...They will be ok for like a day without the heater and a pump, but, try to get your other tank ready by tomorrow.
