Fish Aquarium joint compound in glass tank question?

Way back when, you know in the 80's there were glass tanks (I am sure there are now), there was a sorta sticky yet pliable compound that "stuck" the 90 degree glass walls together. What was that compound? Is it still available? Is there a beter alternative?

yup. Its clear glue type stuff thats called silicone. You can buy it at like lowes or home depot. But if its for a fish tank, be sure to get the aquarium friendly type. it ussaly comes in a little tube. I do not know of any other alternatives.
