Three days ago, Obama's fiscal plan had a target goal for job creation of 3.5 million . . . Yesterday it was upwardly revised to 4.1 million . . . Can anyone explain how he came up with an extra six hundred thousand jobs in three days?
Or is similar to the Fish and Bread parable in the bible?

Obama's plan takes a lot of ideas from the failed "New Deal" tried by Roosevelt. After 6 years of the New Deal unemployment was still above 20%. Roosevelt tried to create jobs by investing tax dollars on infrastructure but when the people are not making as much due to job loss, lowered wages, and the devaluing of the dollar then more tax expenditures is not the answer. Obama has also talked about all the new jobs that will be created in his health care program but once again that can only happen through more tax dollars being spent. He claims that hundreds of thousands of new jobs will be created in green energy. While this could be done if he gets creative with breaks for private industry he can not do it with tax dollars and government people unless we wish to grow our already too large government. In our house when we have money problems we do not add more expenses but rather we tighten the belt and avoid spending what we do not have. If our government thought this way the economy would recover rather quickly. The government should protect the investment that we the people put into the country (tax dollars) instead of squandering it on failing business.

Mr. President-Elect not necessarily going to "create" jobs.........

Now EVERY AMERICAN that don't loose his/her job will be included in President-Elect speeches............ as jobs that HE SAVED......lol

And this number will be climbing every day from now on.
