Fish acting weird at night?

My fish just had a bout with ich and we got Ick clear to get rid it. 2 of my neon tetras died during the process and i 1 umm orange and white striped bigger tetra (i don't know the name). Before the ich i noticed the neon tetras would be around the bottom and there colors seemed dim and faded and they would just twitch their fins and not really move. I noticed that the new ones that my dad baught me were doing the exact same thing... what could this be? its only at night
thank you sooo much it takes a great load off knowing that my little guys are okay

I'm most sure this has nothing to do with Ich this time.
When fish are asleep (well, fish don't really sleep but they go into a hibernation type mode) there colours will fade, sometimes toa gray colour. They will not move of course because they are relaxing basically, so hopefully thats all they are doing

Hope this helped!!
Good Luck!! (I hope they are okay)

Well, there's a couple reasons this could be...

One is that you didst wait 2 weeks for all the Ich to die away before you put in your new fish. I had a Betta with Ich, and you MUST wait at least 2 weeks before adding new fish so all of the parasites can die off.

Another is that the may just need time to get used to the new tank. Many fish need anywhere up to a couple weeks to get used to their new surroundings.

And I know this may sound silly, but that's how many fish sleep. I have 4 White Cloud Mountain minnows and they completely stop moving at night and just twitch to stay afloat.

Hope this helps!

They are sleeping I am 100% possitive... There colors faade because the are trying to blend in to the darkness every fish does this.

Could be natural, but it sounds like maybe your ammonia level is at an alert?
is the fish glancing too?
check the levels, with ich, comes high levels of toxin.
TIP, Do not treat fish in main tank as it will disrupt the enviroment and other fish, should remove the fish anyway to prevent it from spreading. a high water change frequently too.
good luck, hope this helps.
