Got to demo a GT1000 and the S model in CT last June. Great bikes.

yes.... CCR offers bikes for demo every year.
they're an eye catcher for sure. I get a lot of compliments whenever I'm stopped at a light, or parked in the city. The look is classic retro, yes offers performance of new bikes.
I went on a few 600+ mile trips last month, with a pillion passenger... the ride was smooth, and pretty comfortable.
