im trying out poetry, what do u think of this poem?
untitled:
i feel the wind across my knees
as i think of some of my broken dreams
i look across a beautiful stream
a beam of light from the sun goes across the waters
sunrise has begun
then like a race
the light then hits my face
u then see a trace
of tear stains falling across my face
i brace myself
in this new place....
i have nothing to chase
what do u think???
this is about all the dreams i have never fulfilled, and me feeling like i never will get to. and then when light hits my face,my head clears a bit and i realize there is nothing in this world that i have to chase, my dreams have been broken.
