I am looking to buy a PDA for my Christmas present. I am trying to decide whether to purchase the E2 or the T|X. My main purpose to is use Weight Watchers E tools. Is anyone familiar with this? I also want to use replace using a DayTimer with the calendar, address book, etc. Any suggestions?

Both devices will do what you want to do with the Weight Watchers. However, I think the TX would offer you the advantage of being able to see more information on the large screen.

It also includes both bluetooth and Wi-Fi built in, which allows you to have more communication options. The TX also has the newest version of Documents To Go. The latest version has support for using and creating documents in the native file formats. If there is not much difference in price, the TX would be the best buy.

I, too, debated whether to get the E2 or TX and ended up with the TX for several reasons....larger screen. non-volatile (sp?) memory. I really like the TX.
If you can spring for the extra $75-$100, the TX will surely please you.

Hi,
Received an E2 for Christmas and after researching both, exchanged it (plus $100) for a TX.
Factors for the TX:
1)-Faster processor: always good ;-)
2)-More on board memory (128 vs 32), although both are flash type (static RAM, no power required) & upgradable via SD card.
3)-Larger screen. This I have found to not be usable by some software, however, when it is, it is nice to be able to shrink the text entry area & is especially nice for pictures, as one may switch between portrait & landscape mode.
4)-Built-in WIFI. I am think the price of a WIFI card add-on will exceed the price of going to the TX.
5)Hopefully a slightly longer support cycle, as it is a newer product.

Against:
1)-Reportedly, less battery life.
2)-Obviously, greater $.

The software offerings appeared to be very similar, however, I am new to the PDA thing, it it would seem reasonable that the TX may have newer versions.
There may be other things, but these were what I considered material.
