First time for everything....

I guess it was inevitable. I finally came up with a phone that i could not find any info on, on here. I imagine it has something to do with the fact that it's not a new sleek phone, but at any rate....I have the sprint lx 160 and i cannot seem to get a prl to stick on this thing. Any help????

Doh!!! I HAVE been using newer dll's...8300 and up. It never occured to me to do that. Guess i'm just getting old. Thanks!

what is the new version? I have 2.7 and still no luck with this phone. in cdma workshop it just keeps telling me prl write failed. with bitpim i get a long list of things. lg download acts like its writing the prl, but when it's finished rebooting, it still says no service. Well now it says sprint digital roam, and when i dial 228 it gives me verizon's otasp

this is what it says in bitpim....

BitPim version: 1.0.4-official

Did you try using the DLL i posted???
I just did 2 of those this week using the same dll

Yep, never used the bin files before, so i didn't touch that one, but when i installed the 4700 dll i go into lgdownload and try to double click. instead of clicking on one it keeps switching from dll too dll, but won't let me select one

Thats a glitch on lg download you have too many unistall them, should be good with four only. Its gonna keep happenin as you add more so keep them in in a folder together so you can install them and unistall them as you wish..
