First time camping holiday in Cornwall - advice?

I'm planning on going camping for two weeks in the Devon/Cornwall area of southern England with my boyfriend next summer.
This is the first time I have done camping before in a tent and I'm very excited. If anyone who has done this before could answer some questions such as 'Is it advisable to book campsites in advance?' and 'How do you connect to the electricity?'
Also any general advice or places worth visiting would be great.

Yes if you want to stay in a campsite book in advance. you will not get an electricity supply in a tent, not sure why you think you would???.
My advice to you would be screw all the ideas of getting a camp site and do walking or driving and camp in fields and explore cornwall, it is so beautiful and you can get away from the emmits (visiters) and have a fantastic time.Can i recommend north cornwall its the best in my eyes.
