First, consider the fact that you are probably going to throw your first bike up the road. If you still want lots of expensive plastic I would go for the FZ6R over the Ninja for a first bike. It's less extreme, more useful in the real world. Personally, I would add the Suzuki SV650S to the list, great bike, reasonable all-rounder, surprisingly quick, lots of after market bits available to personalize it. It's a bike without vices that will grow with you as you gain experience.
