First thing you do when you buy a new phone?

What is it? What is the first thing you do? Cause i was thinking..do you update the product code that corresponds to the back of the phone? To get the right keypad that came with the phone?
 
why not use "Transfer"???

well, after those things that angel said, i would make call to my girl, coz it is still a phone 1st...
 
1st thing I do is fondle it alot. 2nd thing is sync with my PC, so i've got all my contacts and crap. Then I pop the memory card into my PC, load up all my apps and the theme I want to use, and then I sit down for about an hour and install apps and move the menu around how I want it. Then I play. Hard.
 
lol..I'm kind of the opposite...I load it with every app I would usually throw on it then, and only then will I begin the fondling. I wont touch it until I deem it "ready". I think the N95 might be the first exception. I remember Fedex dropping off my N73 as I was walking out my front door. She sat shotgun with me all day with a few peaks here and there but nothing more. I didnt even power it on until I knew I was loading her up! Damn S60 users are FN quirky arent we?
 
1.) Customize the Profiles, since I always recieve my phones at work,the first thing I do is setup the silent profile the way I want it.

2.) Customize the folder/icon layout

3.) Pop in my bigass mem card and start loading apps

4.) Begin to play

Oh, and I can't stand to wait like Greenteeth does... I start playing immediately... I cancelled a conference call the day my n80 came into my work ... hell, I remember a couple years ago leaving work 3 hours early to wait for my 6630 to arrive! (when I used to have them sent to my home)

jesus crst this is bad I never said I didnt come home early the days I would get one. My wife always bugs me about coming home early from work...and she CLAIMS that the only time I do is when I have a new phone. She also CLAIMS I never call her during the day while i'm at work unless i'm checking on a "package".....of couse she's right but I continue to play it off.
 
My wife is the same way lol... but of course all I have to do is look at her and say "shoes and purses" and any *****ing about my phone habits end

That's too funny. My wife does the same thing, except when I get a new phone I call her a lot at work. Than she will ask me "did you get a new phone or something?" If I try to hide it from her and she sees it a few days later she'll ask "what's this?" I try to lie and tell her I've had it for awhile, but never get away with it
