First 'Sex And The City', now 'The Edge Of Love'

Whats with all the film promotion overkill in the past few months?

First it was SATC, now we have to endure 'The Edge Of Love' at every corner we turn.

Do the film bosses realise that plugging the film at every opportunity only serves to put people off?

And besides, its only a film! The way it is being shoved in our faces is as if it is some life-changing experience.

Plus, is anyone else getting bored with the seemingly endless 'costume dramas' we have to endure on film and TV these days? There must have been hundreRAB in the past year alone. Goodness.

Don't know where you are but The Edge of Love has not been shoved in my face here... only place I've seen stuff about it is in the papers for film reviews or poster pages... haven't even seen a trailer for it on television yet.

Can't wait to see this film.

Oooh look whos branched out into other forums :D

Haven't seen SATC yet but I want too and the reviews for TEOL have been fab- cant wait to see both when I eventually get to! :D

I've not seen anymore promotion for the Edge of Love than other films really.

On the subject I had no idea Matthew Rhys (plays Dylan Thomas in EOL) was welsh. I've only ever seen him in Brothers and Sisters (:o) and it never occurred to me that he might not be american.:o
