first phone using 1700 MHZ released

I know it's GSM and will not work for cricket but being the first 1700MHz phone launched does indicate progress and Cricket will not be far behind. for those of you that don't know Cricket purchased spectrum in the 1700MHz band last year. I've heard they still are trying to launch Vegas by the end of this year (although I think it will more likely be Q1 08). I beleive cricket's first 1700 MHz phone will be by Samsung also.

Maybe but never the less i read some where they where going to trun around and sell it, ill need to find that news clip, who knows but if they do or not, but meh maybe they just wanted to stock up on it, i know if something is sell xD id buy it lol
 
actually now that i think about it there was an article about cricket selling some of the spectrum in area's they were not planning to go into. a lot of the spectrum covers area's that are not well suited for cricket's business structure. I promise you that Las Vegas is coming soon (they finally put it on all the maps as coming soon) like i'm sure there is a few other people on this board that have a better idea, but we're looking at 4 months tops here.
