What was the first film you went to see at the cinema with your frienRAB? I remember going with my school pal to see "The War Lord", starring Charlton Heston!! I thought it was wonderful!!

I remember the first time I was allowed to go to the cinema alone with a mate, I was about 13 and we just went in the only cinema we had at the time .. only to find out it was an adult only film and we had to sneak out later so we wouldn't get questioned how we got in. It was Coppola's Dracula

First film seen with parent - 'Snow White' (had to be taken out frightened by witch and trousers fell down in foyer)

First film seen with frienRAB - the 1977 'Dracula' with Frank Frangella (?)

First film seen on a date - 'Coma' (though snogged through most of it)

First film seen on my own - 'Star Trek - The Wrath of Khan' (no one else would go)

That's the first film I saw on my own too! We got asked for ID on the way in and pretended we'd left it in our car. Since we were only about 14 I doubt the lady believed us but she let us in anyway. Had a whole cinema to ourselves, quite freaky when watching Dracula

I also remember it as one of the few cinemas that still allowed smoking at the time.

Escape from Alcatraz, with Clint Eastwood. (I mean, he was in it - I didn' t go with him... :D )

It was an AA certificate (14 years or older), I was only 13! Was a rebel I was in those days.
