First family camping trip?

This weekend we are going on our first family camping trip. It's going to be 2 days. My daughter and son have never slept outside or even been on the inside of a tent. The other night we set the tent up in the back yard to "test" this idea of camping with them (daughter is 2 son is 3) and my son liked it, but when it was time to go to sleep or we had to close the door my daughter FLIPPED out! We aren't going to be somewhere that we can come in the house like we did the other night...what can we do to make this a good trip??
 
Bring some toys or something to get her mind elsewhere, then she'll forget she is even in the tent until she wakes up.

I would try this in the backyard before you go though.
