Couldn't believe I didn't see this on the front page. Engadget posted today the first ever actual pics of the E90, in the prerequisite fuzzy cameraphone pics.

Blogged, with a pondry - Notice the lack of the dedicated buttons like the E65 and E61i have. Interesting.

Also, they say it has a 3.2MP shooter. WOOHOO!!

This was kind of a joke but at the same time not really. Nokia is moving a lot of their stuff overseas, albeit to cut costs and what not. I'm sure its cheaper for another country with an exponentially lower GDP to design something and get approval through Nokia rather than pay someone within the company to do it.

On another note, it still looks like Nokia is trying to be some kind of fashionista company with that chrome trim around the phone. Not too big of a fan of the outside design although with a little ingenuity, it can be solved.

it has a 3.2MP cam.

I like that it's missing the specific buttons that the E61i and E65 have on them. I'm not a huge fan of that many dedicated buttons that I probably won't use.

Wirelessly posted (Nokia N73 ME: Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.1; U; en-us) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413)

Just to clarify something for myself, there is no 'US' 3G, in the sense that T-Mobile and Cingular will have different down/uplink frequencies right? So even if it's supported by, most likely Cingular, T-Mobile still gets excluded?

The communicator is not the form factor for me, but I actually think this is the best looking communicator so far.

16 million colours on both screens. Awesome.

Obviously they have other countries manufacture their handsets but I would be very very surprised if most of the design and development didnt come out of Finland. What cost cutting would there be by passing off the design elements to a lesser company or person. Are you saying that they let monkeys design their phones and they send them in for approval?

....and Nokia has always been a cutting edge fashion forward company.

that is correct. So that's why US 3G (as it is now) means jack to me as I won't hop over to the Orange for it. Don't hold your breath for Nokia to put out anything spectacular though, I bet the first quadband 3G to be an HTC product.

interesting, I personally think I really like the style/looks. I guess, though, if you compare it to previous communicators, anything's an improvement. I'm more interested to know what kinda radio it's packing.

man...the more i read about this phone the more i want it!! can you imagen watching a movie on this bad boy! i hope we can stream videos off youtube!

How nice would the TV-Out feature be on an E90. That's one of the main reasons I'm sticking to my plans of getting an N95 regardless of which comes out first...the hard part is figuring a way to justify both.
