First Details on Seth MacFarlane?s Fourth Show

Based on his work at Hanna-Barbera we know Seth can do other things but he has chosen not to because of the money. Simple as that. When audiences get bored with his schtick he'll either retire or do something else.

Then more power to you. I, on the other hand, think that being respectful to your fanbase (within reason, of course) is something that everyone who has success in the entertainment biz should do.

Not really. His early works like Life of Larry are pretty much Family Guy prototypes.

However, the stuff he did for JB and Dexter's would mean that he couldn't use his regular formula. Though the more paranoid hater would probably make guesses and say that Dexter and Johnny ended up influencing Stewie and Quagmire.

Well, now you know why King of The Hill was canceled to make room for The Cleveland Show.

Not saying its a bad show, but I'm assuming these people who are sick of MacFarlane sunday nights are seeking alternatives and supporting them? That'd be the best way of dealing with something you don't like.

Seth did practically nothing at CN. He wrote some episodes and made a pilot.
Woo-hoo. After he got out of clown college he basically used Cartoon Network to get a good resume. Here he is now.

And another thing, Darth Gonzo once said you should think of Family Guy as skitcom or stand-up comedy rather a sitcom. Does that meant I should compare Family Guy to, say, Kevin Smith's stand-up routines? If so, then Family Guy fails much more than it would if I were comparing to something like the Simpsons.

Just wanted to let it out.

And does it seems like there are fewer cutaways and pop culture references on the show nowadays? I actually like that stuff, but there wasn't enough to satisfy me in the last few seasons.
