First Day of high school advice...?

Okay so i am going to be a freshmen in the fall at a new school I am not very familiar with. I grew up at a private school. They are all going to different schools so I am going alone to this HS. Is it hard going to HS as a freshmen not knowing anyone...? What is the first day like? Should I be prepared for anything?
 
You will meet so many people in all of your classes. Even if you don't know anyone, have some confidence by walking alone. It's really not as big a deal as people make it. Just like Junior High but bigger. PS. Don't be one of the annoying freshmen.
 
Trust me i'm just getting done with my freshman year! It wasn't as hard as everyone had perceived it as being... Even if you don't know anyone, it's very easy to make friends. Just be open minded and don't let anyone bring you down. High schoolers are generally very nice and like making new friends. Especially people in your situation. There's alot of kids in my high school that went to a private school before and they have alot of friends! Just try very, very, VERY, hard to stay drama free! =D and don't worry! =]
 
don't worry about it. its not hard. a lot of freshman are already new to the area. all of the freshman are new to the school lol. you'll make friends fast.

just don't brag how you have upperclassmen friends.

and you'll probably make friends at freshman orientation anyways.
