First Cellphone, help a poor newbie!

=] just happy

Hey guys, I'm a student with a part time job so for my first cellphone I was thinking of something under $200CAD. I plan on purchasing this phone off of ebay or off these very forums. I plan on doing PayGo with Rogers if this helps any. I'm not that knowledgeable in phones but I've been researching for a few weeks now but most of the information out there is for the newer expensive phones, I just need one that works
Anyways here are some requirements to help you guys help me!Picture Camera (who doesn't want this, geez!)StylishFlip PhoneI like the Motorolla Razr (Generic, I know) but I'd like to know what else is out there in the market. When I was making this list I kind of thought it would be big. Thanks again for your help!

P.S If I'm not descriptive enough in my requirements, you can propose some other things if you wish.

If you like the razr go with the v3i it has a 1.3 megapixel camera and has Itunes but may I also recommend a sony ericsson w300i. its a swivel phone with a good camera and has mp3 capabilities plus sony ericsson makes very good phones. I wouldn't recommend the samsung myself since the pictures it takes look subpar on the computer and I'm not fond of it's mp3 player.

I was thinking of getting either one of these:
-LG CU320
-SAMSUNG SGH-D807
-SONY ERICSSON Z520A (I'm leaning towards this one, can you use your own MP3's as ringtones for this?)
-SONY ERICSSON W300i
-NOKIA 6030
-NOKIA 6101

I could use a second opinion here though. I'm not really looking for a mp3 type phone and I could care less about the camera. I'm really just looking for a stylish phone that works.

You might want to stay away from the z520a too that one had some problems with it crashing. Same with a razr had one for 6 months replaced it 4 times then got a motorola v360 nice phone but i would have to say the samsung d807 is nice the nokia 6101 is ok too if you want to save some money if you aren't going to use the MP3 feature.

i had the z520a i had problems such as buttons not working, freezing, and droped calls. I not have the Moto L2 i think its excellent though and its availible for around $100 - $125. also if you need the camera it has a bigger brother the L6 which is $180 in my store.

Thanks for the advice, I'm liking the D807 because of the whole slide thing but I'm kinda worried it's going to get a lot of scratches on the screen.

I had a revelation and decided to bump my budget up to around 300$. The k750i looks like the one to blow all these phones out of the water even though it's candy bar, it's just so packed with features it makes me drool :P

Well- If you're up to $300(Canadian) why not go for a Toshiba 803T? They come in all sorts of colors and are pretty good in terms of feature set. The only downside is that "stylish" is subjective- For example, I hate the way that the Razr looked when it first came out (I don't like silver) and really liked the look of the 803T at first (bright colors attract me and I like to have a phone that's kind of big) even though I got a 904T at the end (but that might be too much for your budget- I'm living in China so pricing might be different on the US eBay)

Be careful with the K750, its a great phone but it lacks GSM 850 so the reception will not be as good in buildings and such.

The 803T is actually very nice. The problem is though is the same with the K750 I guess, it lacks GSM 850. Is this REALLY a big deal? The only building I see myself in are schools and houses.
