first car help please?

my family has decided they'll get me a car....
i'm 16 and believe it or not i'm a really good driver so no bad talk.
my budget is 7,000 dollars.. and it should be under 60,000 miles.
also hoping the year to be 2004 and up..

any ideas, or help please?

should i wait and try to make more money or just lower my standards?

hint check with ur insurance co before buying a car,some cast 2x another
mazda 3 is nice..safe..good mpg,,sporty like civic
