First car help please?

I really want a nice car Something like a street car, I was thinking Honda civic, should i get it used or should i get it new.. and also im 17, junior and i have a low paying job and still have to pay for my cloths for next school year. I need to pay 45 dollars on school id's and i dont know if ill hav enough money by the time i hit 18, and also where can i learn about cars im really starting to like street cars and want to get into auto mechanics do they pay good?

You want a car that looks like a street racing type. If your going to get a car and mod it get something with small motor with low HP (The bigger the engine and the more HP it has the insurance will skyrocket for a teen). Also if you want to street race, I would recommend you ignore this as your going to need a good engine to out run the cops.

I would recommend by asking to have as much as hours at you work as possible. The more money you have to more money you will have to spend on a vehicle, monthly/yearly insurance, and mods.

Auto mechanic gets paid reasonably. They could make anything for $15-30+ depending on where you work and how busy you work is.
