First car buying experience Honda Civic?

I am set on buying a new 2009 Honda Civic Coupe LX, is it possible to buy the Honda Civic Coupe LX at below invoice price? If you own a Honda Civic, what price did you pay for your car? Any tips on buying a car? As far as what I should do before going to the dealership/while in the dealership?

i believe you cant get it for below invoice, thats what the dealers bought it for and they would lose money if they sold it to you for below invoice.

tips:
-go at the end of the month, dealers try to sell a certain amount of cars each month, and will be more willing to deal/negotiate the last few days
-i'm not sure exactly when, but the 2010 civics should be arriving within the next month or two. dealers NEED to get rid of those 2009 honda civics, so they will be even cheaper to get.
