you either fialed or were close to failing pushups. i know you fiaeld sit ups. think you failed the run too or you're cutting it really close.

Here are your minimums for a 28 year old male for BCT: Push ups-30, Sit ups- 36, 2 mile run- 17:54 and you can't weigh over 223. So, you failed your sit ups, and you're over weight. Did the recruiter not tape you get your total body fat percentage? I hate to tell you this but no. Those scores aren't the best to start with, but you do show promise. I don't see you getting out of the MEPS station unless you pass a tape test. You really need to work on those sit ups. The minimums I gave you are only 50% of the 100% scale that the Army uses, after BCT and AIT you will need to score 60% on this scale. You'll loose weight in BCT, that's no problem, just work on sit ups.

I just took a PT test with my recruiter before leaving for BCT in two weeks. My pushup total was 43 in 2 mins, situp total was 26 in 2 mins, and my two mile run time was 16 mins 53 secs. Seeing as how I am 28 yrs old weigh 250 and stand 6 ft 4 inches, are these decent numbers to start with?
