First Annual S60 Hofo Awards!

Welcome one and all to the first annual HoFo S60 Awards! I've decided, after 4 years of posting on these forums (most of my time here has been in the S60 forums for sure), that it's time for some recognition of the contributions that various members, vendors, software developers, etc make to our daily use of our favorite gadgets.

So, in that vein, I've decided to start what will hopefully become an annual March Madness event: the Hofies! Now, there's a few things for you all to keep in mind here:

1.) This is not in anyway officially sanctioned by Howard, the Moderators, or anyone else associated directly with HoFo. This is entirely "for the people, by the people" so to speak.
2.) There are no actual awards, monetary or otherwise, associated with the Hofies. If I had money to give... I'd probably spend it on a phone rather than give it to y'all ... but in all seriousness, I just think it's time that some of the members here who give so much back to this very vibrant user community are recognized for their efforts.
3.) All categories are chosen by me... but I'm open to new ones. So if you think there's one I'm missing out on, please PM me with your suggestion and I'll review it (and probably add it).
4.) Since I'm limiting this to the S60 Forums, try to keep that in mind when nominating members. Sure, you may think bobolito is the greatest Mod ever ... but considering he's probably only visited here once or twice, he's probably not the best fit for a Hofie.
5.) Have fun!

So, here's how this is going to work. I'm posting this today (3/20), and will let the nominations run through Thursday (3/22) Night at Midnight ... two days ought to be long enough to read this and nominate someone. I'll post the winners up on Friday morning (I'm up earlier than most of y'all anyway), and they can post their acceptance speeches in comments . Nominations can be left in comments, or PM'd to me if you'd like to keep them anonymous. Please keep the flaming to a minimum; if you don't like someone's nomination, that doesn't mean you need to tell them where to shove it in comments! Hell, send them a PM if you feel the need to do that! Also, keep in mind that all of this is supposed to be good-natured ... so if you are the one who wins "Biggest Post-Whore", please take it with the laughs that are intended for it!

I'm standing in the rain smokin a cigarette so a formal acceptance speech isnt possible.....i'm not sure what to say though....as far as I can tell I was the front runner for being the biggest jack@$$ and runner up as the biggest whore! Sort of a toss up as to how I should feel lol! Anyway, congrats to Ricky and Darla as they swept the hofies in the categories that really meen something! ....and thanks to Olly for another "never actually doing any work production"...or whatever its called......

Perhaps you can get this made into a 2 day sticky so it stays at the fore front to get more nominees. You've got the pull to get that done. eh?(trying to butter em up with some canadian)
