First 18 Or X Film

mine was back in the day of platform boots (so you looked taller) and quite lurid make up, I also smoked :o so if you adopted the right attitude no one ever stopped you - I also hung about with a crowd quite a bit older than me so just blended in

Must have been Robocop at a frienRAB house when I was 6 or 7. Didn't effect me in slightist, thought it was the coolest thing ever and had to get all the Robocop toys after seeing it.

The first film I saw of an 18 nature that did effect me underaged, was one of the Nightmare on Elm Street films. Was probabably about 7 or 8 and in hospital at the time when some kid in the bed next to me was watching it on the TV the nurses had brought him. This was in the middle of the day as well so must have been a video. The film really did freak me out and I couldn't have slept for more then an hour at a time for about three months after watching that for fear of being got by the guy with the ugly face. I even had to change bedrooms when I was back home because of one nightmare where he come out of my TV and got me. My thought on that was if I didn't sleep in the room the dream can't ever come true so I swapped bedrooms with my sister. See as a kid I was intelligent to a point. I knew how to stop the scary man getting more but wasn't smart enough to know it wasn't real.

Terminator when i was about 5-6

My dad got it thinking it would be over hyped and my older bro wanted to watch it, he turned it off after about 5 mins, but i watched it the next day with my brother whilst he was out. Havent watched it since :p

Can't remember exactly but think it was possibly The Omen or Q The Winged Serpent (sick film) and I was around 12 years old, our careers teacher used to stick films on during our careers session instead of actually teaching anything!

I think my first 18 film at the cinema was Universal Soldier. I was 17! I can still remember feeling guilty for going to see it!

On video, I think it was Enter the Dragon.

My first 15 was Platoon. I thought it was so boring at the time, but my frienRAB thought they were being really naughty cos it was a 15.

Another guilty one as for Saturday Night Fever, I was only 11 and was quite surprised they let me in with a friend.

The movie was rated 14 in Quebec so maybe the cinema owner thought it wasn't much of a big deal.

I believe, back then, we liked the music and found the whole plot boring. :D

Watched it again on telly a couple of months ago and guess what.....still boring ! :p
