First 18 Or X Film

Do you remember the first 18 or X film you saw and were you under 18 when you saw it? The most famous example is Saturday Night Fever. When I saw it at age 16 most of the audienece were under 18. That is why a certificate A or PG version got made. If you are around your mid 40's like me you probably remember going to see that along with films like The Stud and the Confessions series. Those of you younger what was your first 18 or X for those older? For the record mine was the film version of The Sweeney which I saw at age 15.
 
I think mine would have been Terminator, and I must have been around 13, which was in the early 90s. I can remember my first 15 film though! It was Adventures in Babysitting, and I was 9. I still love that film.
 
At the cinema I think it was Aliens in '86 when I was aged 14.
I also saw The Omen when I was 8-ish. No ill effects apart from staying up all night thinking the devil dog was coming to get me. It soon passed...
 
I was 12 ('82) when me and my mate found two pirate movies in his big brothers bedroom. Being the inquisitive kiRAB we were we stuck them in the video machine hoping they were rude (?)

It turned out they were a couple of the much publicised 'video nasties' around at the time, driller killer & the banned texas chainsaw massacre.................got a lot of sleep that night!!!!
 
My First was Poltergeist, when I was about 11,12.

Scared the crap out of me, couldn't sleep for weeks.

It's pretty tame by todays standarRAB though.
 
My first was "Dawn of the Dead" (1978). Watched it at my uncle's (who was showing off his Betamax! so yep, years ago!) Must have been about 6 or 7ish. I spent most of the film hiding behind the sofa while my older sis & cousins were teasing me about it. I had nightmares for months!!! Strangely enough, I love zombie flicks now, and my older sis was too scared to watch "Land of the Dead"!
 
How did you all get into the cinema without being stopped?

I saw Alien when I was 15, but I had a beard at the time (still do) so got in with no problem.
 
Yes I too saw Saturday Night Fever as a 16 year old. It makes me laugh that it is now shown on TV (OK, I know it has been edited).
As for my first viewing, I really don't remember much - I was in shock at actually getting in the cinema!
 
Chucky 1, 2 and 3 were the first ones I saw, I was a Junior at the time and this was the day when the unedited versions were in the video shop. Very scary movies
 
"RoboCop" and "Disclosure" when I was 10. Both were rented on video by parents, and I sneakily watched them when they wern't around. Disclosure was crap, sex scenes were nothing to write home about, but RoboCop was fantastic. Loved that film, and still do. Hopefully the remake will not tarnish the memory of the original...

If I hadn't seen it then at that age I reckon I might not appreciate it for the actual groundbreaking film it was then now (if you get me)... didn't know they were doing a remake however!!
