firing problems on a 1990 Ford ranger?

this year modle came out with the dual plugs. it has 8 plug wires instead of 4. it has to coil packs on the truck 1 for each set. and the exhust side is firing but the manifold side isn't i've put a new coil pack on the manifold side but it still won't fire all the fuses are good. if anybody knows anything about ford rangers. comment thanks
