firewire for bell hd 6100

i have a bell hd 6100 receiver and want to hook it up to my computer va
mediaportal. i was told the best and easyest way is by firewire, does my bell receiver have this if so how can i make this work ( i want to stream hd programming ). i do have firewire on my computer
