I think the nemo film was made in MAYA like the rest of the animated films. Its a tough program to use, but it really is great!

watched it on DVD yesterday with my 3 year old son. We both thought it was fantastic!!!!

I enjoyed it much more than Toy Stoy & Monsters Inc (quality films though).

The DVD package is excellent... picture, sound & extras are all 1st rate. Especially good is a docu on the making of the film (you really see the amount of work, blood sweat & tears that went into it).

Can't wait to see it again:) Anyone with a muli region DVD BUY IT NOW!!
 
I can honestly say I think it's the best Disney film I've ever seen.
It is so clever on so many levels. Personally I think it's a work of genius. Incidently try watching it on pot. It's very very educational and philosophical in a very spritual way. It's so well crafted that you can literally immerse yourself in the film without any fear that you'll be mishandled.
 
i agree. I saw Fining Nemo on the plane to greece in mid/late august and even tho i found it v. funny it was not as good as Toy Story 1 + 2 and Monsters Inc.

Apparantly, there were Toy Story (Buzz) and Monsters Inc (Mike) references / guest appearances in there!

I didn't spot em!!:( :(
 
Yeah I didn't spot them either probably because I was too busy laughing through the whole film!!! The best film i've seen since The Lion King.

P.S The Lion King comes out on DVD on 31st October

The documentary thing is quite good on the dvd to - my other hald and I were disagreeing as to whether it was all animated or if they used real footage of sea etc.

I was right but it was based on real footage.:D
 
I watched this film the other night and thought that it was great, But no where as good as TS and TS2 but thought that was better than Monsters Inc

I found that finding nemo was very average fare :( :eek: :confused: The characters felt tedious after a while and the 'lovey lovey' moments were laid on particularly thickly, even for a 'kiRAB' movie. Wasn't all that keen on the story either. The film wasn't created in MAYA - it uses their own in-house software. I know that Buzz Lightyear was in the movie as a kid's doll, but I can't remember exactly where....:confused:

As was mentioned earlier - buy yourself a copy of "Spirited Away" if you want a true Disney buy-in classic :)
