Finding Anime Names & General Anime Q&A

Trying to remember the name of this anime i watched a while back.
Theres a series of characters that all have gems embedded somewhere in their body. Maybe an ankle, an arm etc. (its not the girl with the blue eye).
its pretty heavy on fantasy. i think i vaguly remember the plot being about a girl trying to get to a "perfect place" or something like that, but even she knows very little about it. the group gradually gets a few more into it and they make their journey all over the place.

hopefully im not mixing up two animes here, the only thing i really remember majorlly was the fact that they have gems embedded in them.. anyone have any ideas or guesses? sorry, i know its not much to work with

trying to rack my brain here.
really cant remember if this is the same anime as the one i was thinking above, but it might be.. i recall the main girl was "awoken" by some kid (she was "sealed" in a box or something he stumbled upon) and they can. bond together and get powerfull, or maybe she turned into a weapon or something.. might be the same anime, and if not. id like to know the name of that one too heh

thats definitely one of the ones i was looking for. or maybe thats the only one.. damn animes melding together
however do other characters throughout that show have gems embedded in them also? i definitely remember an anime where a number of people had them in them. but it might just be elemental gelade..
 
First one is Tsukiumi from Sekirei, second one is Ren from DearS, and I think the third one is Astraea from Sora no Otoshimono.
 
Its definitely Elemental Gelade. Cou wakes Ren up in the first episode. Yes other characters do at least the ones that are Eldel Reids. Every Edle Reid has a gem inside their body called a Elemental Gelade.
The gems they have inside them give them the power to change into a wepon with there partners. Elemental Gelade is a good show I havent seen it in sometime.

I just finished the Lovely Complex and Ichigo 100% (rlly like it) and i rlly want to watch the another romantic anime like those.... can anyone give me advise?
 
ooh yea i forgot to mention it... have u guys ever watched japanese tarzan?? rlly funny... i used to watch it when i was a kid but i rlly want to wach it agian... can anyone give me a link to watch it???? Japanese Tarzan... like he got fat ass girlfriend and his friend is alibaba i think? the black guy... i love that anime.. plz someone give me the link

Unfortunately I don't have a picture because... well, I don't know the character's name otherwise I would look him up lol.

Anyway onto the description:

He's nothing new. I used his character image in 2002ish. So he came out before then. He may or may not have actually been from one of those arcade 2D fighting games (street fighter type games).

He had blond hair, he was an athletic built character with a big belt buckle that said "Hope" on it, he wore a white costume which was not a cape but the top flared out at the waist. The most striking feature of all was his sword, which resembled a lightsaber.

Anyone coming up with anything?

He looked very similar to this guy, but no wings:

Well this is going to be a huge stretch! I'm trying to find an anime I watched a LONG time ago, before I really followed anime, and it kills me that I can't remember a name. It was in japanese, but i assume over this amount of time it got eng dubbed.

In it, there were people fighting in a tournament organized by varying powerful demons, eventually leading up to the biggest and worst, as they do. I remember one specific event, though not as vividly as I'd like, where a female character was fighting another character at first inside an underground facility, eventually ending up topside/skyward where it was a desert region with a huge tree above where the facility is.

The female was losing badly, suddenly had the idea to break her training and unleash only what I can recall as a releasing of a seal.

Now if in all this vagueness, you somehow manage to blurt out titles that COULD be what I'm looking for, you are a saint.

Ive been trying to identify this male character for a while. I have multiple pictures of him but cant seem to figure out just who he is or what anime he is from. Could someone please help??

There was an anime movie in the mid 90's that I want to find but don't remember the name.

The anime was, as I remember it, about a boy (early teens) that was stuck in a time lock of sorts where everything but him was slowed down about 1000x speed. Everything he touched or interacted with had the impact of 1000x. Example he tripped in one scene and was stopped by a wall from falling and when time resumed to normal for a few moments the spot on the wall of the building where he fell into re-acted like a bomb had gone off and caused the building to collapse.

I know its not much to go on but if anyone can help me I will love you forever. I've been trying for years to figure this out. When I watched it the first time it was on late night, around midnight, and my mom made me go to bed because I was 7th grade.
