Finding Anime Names & General Anime Q&A

Hey everyone, I'm new and found this forum as #1 for "Anime Forums" on a Google search. I'm on a mission and I could really use your help.

When i was a young girl ('88-'91) I remember watching an anime on TV, couldn't remember what station (possibly cartoon network or Disney, idk), And this anime is what set into motion for me in enjoying Anime's from that point on. Problem is i never watched the entire movie but I can still remember a little bit about it. It's imperative that I'm able to find out what movie this is so I can finish this movie. Here is the description;

A young boy leaves his village to do some choirs. Upon returning to his village he realises that everyone was turned to stone, When he is in one of the buildings of his village he sees someone watching him through a window whilst hanging upside down. This person has on goggles i believe. Anywho, This young bo finds out that this other persons (i think laser gun) weapon is what turned everyone to stone. (mind you i was flipping through the stations too so i did not catch it all). It is later discovered (i believe) that this person was this boy's older brother, and he sets out on a quest to find out why he turned evil and/or why he did that to their village.

(after flipping through the stations a bit)
(this second part of the description may be a diff movie, but i don't think so)

I come back to the anime to see this younger boy standing on a short edge of what appears to be a pyramid, talking to a huge floating head that is speaking to him (best memory of it i have).



Now i've never seen the movie fully through but this was the first parts of anime i ever seen in my life, and its wat turned me onto anime. I later saw the movie "Green Legend Ran", "Vampire Hunter D" (the original), "Princess Mononoke", "Metropolis", etc. etc.

If anyone can please help me find out this movie Title so that I may finally finish this move, I would be forever in debited to you.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this board and would appreciate some help. I've been trying to figure out the name of this anime about a little schoolgirl who gets bullied and abused by her classmates and she has a demon exact revenge on them. She keeps the monster in her closet. There's even a scene when they take a broom stick to her. Can anyone help me with this? The girl bully is so demented she even convinces her older brother to abuse the main girl character. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Don't know if i'm posting this correct but that will probably be modified.

Anyway i have forgotten a name of what used to be a favourite manga of mine when i was young, it kinda looks like the gundam series except for the fact that in this series the main character uses some kind of crystal to call upon his powers. As the series progresses his suit evolves a couple of times too.

Like i said the serie looks like the gundam looking at the aspect of a battle suit. The main character uses a alien crystal but get damaged when he gets to earth or in a fight after which the people who help him use the crystal to make normal suits like in gundam.

Does anyone know the name of this anime or need i tell more

I checked the manga you suggested but it isnt the one. The one i mean
was without the kids.

From what i remember the storyline was about the fact that the main character was part of some alien army(even though he is human) which use a crystal to call upon an armor which looks like a gundam suit but is more like the guyver armor.

This main char goes renagade and ends up on earth. Somewhere along the way his tranforming crystal gets damaged which results in him not being able to morph anymore.
He meets some people on earth (whom are military ofcourse) who use the crystal tech to develop a kind of machine which enables the main char to call upon his armor again.

Of course the alien army wants its crystal back and goes to earth, which results in nice battles.

Whenever the main char fights some badass oponent his armor evolves making him stronger.

Note that dispite the fact its on earth with aliens all characters look human.

What anime is this?:

All I know if that this guy suddenly quits his job of being a video game creator and then towards the end he saves a young girl from being hit by a car. The girl owns the game that he and a coworker created and then messes with the game after he dies.

I don't remember anything else.

That may sound funny, but this picture plays a great role in my life. Unfortunately, I can't find out its origins. I've tried once, a few years ago - I've made a poll on several forums, but have got no response.

This small avatar - is all information I have about it. No more clues at all T_T Maybe it will be a Hard Mode for u... It's not a joke for me tho~. I have so many copies of this file - on CDs, on external file-hosts - can't imagine myself losing it. And at the same time I have no idea where it comes from. What a shame >_
 
This is the problem everyone, i've been looking for a certain anime, but i cant remember its name, could any of you help me out.

This is a small description.

Its about a boy, with 9 fire dragons inside him. They are dormant, but then his mother appears, but he dosent know, and to protect his friend, shoots fire at her. THe first dragon puts out fireballs, the second is a fire blade i think, the 5th i think creates a barrier.

Please tell me if you have any ideas.
 
I think your talking about Flame of Recca. Thats the only anime I can think of, that comes close to your discription.
