Finding Anime Names & General Anime Q&A

Sorry, I have a very important question! Does the series Moribito have an ending? It seems like a cutoff series to me [ Just bought it ] !
 
Okay, this may be a completely crazy quest since I barely remember this anime, but I figured it'd be worth a shot.

I saw an anime late one night on IFC like, 5 years ago. I think it started out with a girl following a cat down a dark alley. I remember it was a really strange anime and the story was pretty dark. I think it was narrated by a guy who was trying to find the girl, and in the end the guy ended up being shot and killed, and I think it was the girl that killed him.

I unfortunately can't remember much at all, but apparently my current boss saw that same show as me so many years ago, so we're trying to figure out what it was.

Any help at all would be fabulous.
 
Ok this has been bugging me: there was an anime that ran for a short time on cartoon network, it was a typical space/mech themed show, so-so dialogue yada yada nothing remarkable, except that all the space sequences were digitally done. I realise this isn't much to go on, but I can't remember anything else about it. Any help in identifying this series is much obliged!!
 
All of the space sequences in Lost Universe were done digitally, but I don't know if the show has turned up on C.N. before or not.
 
I'm pretty sure Lost Universe was shown on tv in the US, but I'm not sure if it was on Cartoon Network.

Anyway, merging this with the other "asking for anime names" thread.

Edit: Arg, I hate the way this merges things. I should know it's going to do it.

Anwyay, it seems Lost Universe was on the International Channel back in 2003, if that helps anybody.
 
Well, from what Leafninja.com says, Naruto's mother is named Uzumaki Kushina and his father is named Namikaze Minato. I don't know, I could be wrong about it, though...
 
i forgot the name of it but theres like a girl inside of a robot that fights and protects this guy that suppose to be her husband or something? can someone tell me the name of that anime?
