Finding Anime Names & General Anime Q&A

Don't remember much about this one, just one scene. The pratagonist is facing off against some sort of robotic opponent. This robot calculates all possible movements of the hero and counters them.

Okay here goes my question and I'm afraid I don't have a lot of info besides what I remember from a trailer.

There was an anime, and it's came out in Japan in the 2000's. I believe after 2003. It took place in the real world, and it had kids in it. And.. dragons? What looked to be the main boy had something that was in the shape of a star? I think he could ride it in the air... but at one point in the trailer, there's a woman and she's speaking, and the shot zooms in on a screen, where you see a dragon flying, and in it's mouth is a human's forarm with a hand attached.

I remember it was throwing to see that since up to that point it had seemd like a fun and light hearted anime, and from that point on in the trailer it got darker I believe.

I know it's VERY little to go on, but any help would be appreciated. Now that I'm older, I'm interested in looking it up and seeing what it's about.

this anime i use to watch like 5-6 years ago, same time as transformers:Armada was out. the only things i can remember from the show is one of the "Badguy" robot things was like a huge Godzilla Robot. And all the Robot/transformer things were i think based on anmals and dinosours and stuff. The robots were also "drivin" by people. Can anyone think of a anime that would fit these Spec.'s.ITS NOT Beast Wars. thx if anyone can help.

ANN: Moe is a Japanese term used in connection with manga or anime to describe something precious, usually (but not always) the ideal of youthful and innocent femininity. Written with the kanji for "to bud or sprout" (萌), the concept covers a range of ideal behaviour for youthful female characters in manga or anime. To be moe, a character can be eager or perky, not overly independent, and call forth a desire in the viewer to protect them and nurture them. The term is also used to describe any preciously cute item; there is an animal mascot character store in Tokyo called Moe.

There is a lot of debate over the crossover between moe fandom and lolicon. While the crossover exists among fans and products the two genres are not synonymous.

Wiki: Moe (萌え, Moe? /mo.e/, pronounced "mo-eh" literally "budding", as with a plant) is a Japanese slang word originally referring to fetish or love for characters in video games or anime and manga. For example, 眼鏡っ娘萌え, meganekko-moe, "glasses-girl moe", describes a person who is attracted to fictional characters with eyeglasses.

Hope that's helped

It might be Genki Robo, Saint Seiya, Heaven Wars Shurato or any other number of anime. There are a lot of robot shows with their designs based around animals.

I remember watching a ova (5-6 episodes I think?!) several years ago something to do with this lady who was a detective of some sort (paranormal possibly) and she loved to drink sake even when it was cold. Don't remember too much else about it other then it was quite funny
