Finding Anime Names & General Anime Q&A

I'm looking for this anime, that has this guy with weird hair and he does this thing. Then there's this girl with long hair that doesn't remember anything. Then this thing happens, and things get all crazy.

Halp?
 
I remember watching this anime movie when I visited Japan in 1998. Thing is, I didn't even speak Japanese, but I watched the movie anyway; I just didn't listen to any of the dialogue. My memory of it is very fuzzy, but here goes:

It was about this fight between these warriors and these gods, and they were all trying to obtain some powerful item. I really can't remember much else, except that it was very violent, and the good guys prevailed in the end.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
I'm looking for a movie title also, I remember the movie is not that old, maybe 3-4 years old. I want to say it had something to do with the sky or clouds. I don't think it was Castle in the Sky or Beyond the Clouds. Story was kind of complex too...
 
There is an anime ive been trying to think of for a very long time, ive watched it all but would like to watch it again, basically its set in the future, there are twins and they get i think warped or sent on a ship to another planet. i remember one of the twins dying and i remember the other using a blue beam sword. they had brown/orange hair. thats about all i can remember. except as is pretty much standard in a lot of anime their dad was somebody important or something. pls help, thanks

edit: i was looking through anime-planet.com cz i just joined and was adding anime i have watched etc and saw "jyu oh sei", i knew straight away that was it, thanks anyways
