Finding Anime Names & General Anime Q&A

My boyfriend is trying to figure out the title of an anime he watched in the Philippines, in the 90's. He gave me a description, and we tried Googling it (I'm a Google master, too) and we found no results.

It's about a boy who has a special sword. He sticks these orbs inside of it, and depending on the color of the orb (and the symbol written on it) it gives a unique power to the sword. For instance, a blue orb will give the sword water powers. The boy (name unknown) fought his school mate named Takeshi (might be wrong). Takeshi was meditating in his basement, and turned evil and grew horns after aquiring an orb. He went to his school and started beating up students, for some reason he turned evil.

Takeshi's house could fly...

This is all he could remember about it. He's been trying to find the name of it for a few months, and I suggested he join an anime forum and ask. No on could help him on the forums he joined, so I figured I would share this puzzle with you lovely people. ;p
 
Sort of sounds like Kenyu Densetsu Yaiba, but I am not sure.




Could it be Zoids, Candidate for Goddess, or any of the Gundam series?

Also, it isn't by any means a mecha anime, but some of the things you described seem to remind me of Digimon Tamers.

Apart from the ones I mentioned, the descriptions you gave don't really remind me of anything else. Sorry, I probably can't help you any further unless you could possibly be more specific, and add some details to your description concerning the main character(s).
 
I'm trying to find an old anime i havent seen for years. i cant remember much about it, i last saw it when i was about 5 or 6 or maybe 7. here's what i can remember:

Set on Earth in war torn cities, a girl is speeding about on a hover scooter. there are giant, spherical robots after her for some reason. they can shoot their hands as missiles and roll about destroying things. Theres a black guy smoking a cigar which blows bubbles, and he wears flippers. he runs up the front of one of these robots to catch the girl when she's falling.

If i last saw it when i was 5, that would put it being 18 years old. Here in the UK it was released on the same video label (Kids cartoon collection) as speed Racer.

there was this anime that i only saw one episode of and i cant remember the title of. the plot was that there was this killer who was looking for his sister i think her name was bunny. and if he met you, you would say that she is all right or he would kill you. im pretty sure that the killer wore a wolf mask. if you know what one this is please send me a message or email me at [email protected] thanks.
 
hay umm im lookin for an amine series that i watched ages ago and have forgotten the name and was wondering if any one could help me out?

well i will do the best to describe what i rember of it



ok i rember a hotel in the middle of a big city with cheary bolosem trees and stuff in the court yard. umm one of the main chars had blue hare and when she got scared and stuff she would change personalities one being angry one a little kid one was good at magic and there was more just cant rember them . and she was the owner/landloard of the hotel and she would cook dinner for all the ppl living there. all so one of the other chars had a dog pupped on his hand and was allwayz fishing in the middle of the hotel (there was a pond and a guarden in the middle of the hotel).


well thats about all i can rember. please if you know of the show im describing please tell me the name its driving me crazy not knowing what the name is!

Yeah, this should be in General Anime Q&A, which is stickied at the top of this page.

That said, the majority of what you have described reminds me of Inuyasha. If it isn't, then it would help, and speed things up, if you could possibly give a description of the main character(s).

as I checked the replays , its not Inuyasha that's for sure , and I also checked Maison Ikkoku and I wasn't lucky yet , about the main character he is young black hair handsome guy , and in deferent episodes his hair style is deferent too , I mean if the story is in the past he will have long hair and in the present its short , he don't travail in time but as I said he is immortal , I remembered one small detail I hope it help , in the episode about the demon mom , after the second mom kills her own baby girl , she turn in to demon or beast ( what ever you might describe it ) then he slay her with his sword and turn her back to human form , she tells him that she will do any thing to get her child back he tells her that this words cost this sword owner a lot , so she kills her self with his sword through the knick , at the last scene you see the small baby child all grown up walking with her friend and she pass by him and looks at him like if she knew him from somewhere .

one more thing I forget to tell that this Anime is extremely violence and there is a lot of blood and slaying
