No one? Ive seen that character in a couple sigs now (on another forum)

Im sure its from an anime, it isnt just some fan-drew character.

Any ideas? Im looking for a new series to watch, maybe ill watch whatever its from

hey im looking for the name of an anime i saw adges ago but forgot the name, (sods law) it was about robots, the robots were only about the size of a bus maybe bigger and they were used in the army like we would use tanks in our time, there is nothing to do with aliens space or deamons, in one of the episodes it shows 1 of the people in the robot going insane because of the robot and he goes all rambo on his friends in the other mechs and he tears the head off of 1 of the mechs and starts carrying it around like a trophy, there is a kid in it and for some reason he and his family line are the only 1s who can pilot these very old evil looking robots the 1 he pilots is a big devil looking thing with 1 huge arm and a sword the 1st time he goes inside the machine he attacks the robots of that age and they blow off his big arm with guns, at 1 point there is a flashback to him and this girl piloting the mechs in the 1700 or something well before those kind of machines could hav ever exsisted, it was on scifi i think around about the time that saiko exciting was on the uk scifi tv, if any1 can help it would be much appreciated cos this has bin botherin for some time.

I was directed to this thread to ask my question =)

I hope you can help me. When I was very young I saw this movie but I cannot recall it's title. And since it was a long time since I was young my memory is of it's slim but I rember it with joy. So if anyone out there regonizes this please help me to find it's title.

What I do recall is that some major event forces people to move, they end upp on trains going to this place where humans are beeing turned into robots. And as we follow this person on the train his mother/grandmother or something of the like talks about all the good reasons about becoming a robot, but while walking the train it is clear manny fear reaching the destination and beeing turned into a robot.

Does it ring anyones bell?

Nah, thats what I figured at first but I asked the two people who had it in their sig and they said it was defintly from an anime. Just couldnt remember what one
