Finding Anime Names & General Anime Q&A

Hi all!

I'm not all that much into anime but I did watch DBZ back in the day, and that show was ill. Anyways,

I remember watching an anime movie when I was a little kid, it was a horor movie, intended for adults. From what I remember, it was about a spaceship crew and some kind of alien, or virus or something came aboard the ship.

A specific scene I remember is that there was a cat on the ship..and whatever the alien was infected the cat. There was also lots of violence and such. Thats as much as I can remember, I know its not all that much but hopefully someone has seen it recently.

I was told that it might be JET...or something, so I'm looking into that.

If anyone can tell me the name of this movie it would mean a great deal, I'd love to see it again.

Has anyone ever heard of the anime Monster Rancher?

All I know is that it used to air on UPN 13 at 7 in the morning like 8 or 9 years ago.

I only remember it because it was on while I was getting ready for school when I was young.

I never saw that many episodes of it, but I don't think I have ever heard it mentioned before and just wanted to know if anyone had heard of it or seen it before.......
 
Ok, I'm looking for the name of an anime that aired about 7 years ago on Cartoon Network (USA), and it was like some samurai show. I believe it was 5 guys and they each had different colored armor. The Red armored guy had double swords, and the green armored guy had a single broad sword. The rest I forget. But I do remember they like all combined to become this white armored guy.

I also remember that they had faceplates that were retractable,
