Funny though, is it fan art? Because when I searched for pictures of Maria-sama ga Miteru the art style that came up was completely different. The only mutual element was the uniform.
 
I am having a hard time remembering the name of an anime movie probably from the 90's. I saw it on Showtime i belive a long time ago but it was sucha great movie I still remember it. These are a few of the details i remember:

I believe there was something about rival school of some sort..I believe there were 3 kids involved.

Another major feature I remember was something about an evil bird-human type thing which gets chopped up at the end by the main character.

I'm also looking for an anime. It's a series. I really can't remember much of it--I only remember seeing one episode.

In this episode, a group of people arrive in a town. One of them had lived there previously. He went to find his girlfriend. They talked for a while. He asked her if she still had a ring that he had given her, one that he had made out of the first bit of money he had made. She lied, and told him that she did not have it anymore, but once he left, she pulled out of her shirt.

I believe that I saw it on Cartoon Network. I'm really not sure of the time period. I believe that the male character left town so that he could make money. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
 
sounds to me like that episode of cowboy bebop where Jett returns to his home planet/colony...of course thats only a vague guess ^^

Someone else mentioned Cowboy Bebop, and I looked into a plot summary. I don't think it's it, but I'm going to watch that particular episode in about 10 - 20 minutes to see if it is the one. (You're talking about episode 10, Ganymede Elegy, I think.) Thanks for the info.

Ok, I watched the episode, and it's not it. Either I'm going crazy and dreaming animes up, or the anime I'm looking for isn't that popular. I had thought that it was set in Samarai-esque times, but I might be wrong about that. If anyone else has any ideas, please let me know.
 
Was it samurai CHamploo maybe? How big was the group? I know in samurai champloo, the group is always in need of money.

Check that out, maybe a title/image will seem familiar. Although I'm not sure if it's complete since someone mentioned Samurai Champloo and it wasn't on the list.
 
Nothing seemed to jump out at me. I've checked several lists of animes on Cartoon Network, and not one of them seem to be it. www.wikipedia.org had a fairly comprehensive list of stuff that had aired on Toonami and Adult Swim. I've checked both of those out, but I thought I might mention it in case someone else is looking for an anime from Cartoon Network you can refer them to that list. I haven't had much free time, so I haven't been able to check out Samurai Champloo. Thanks for the help everyone.

EDIT: It's www.wikipedia.org, not .com. I always forget that. Corrected it.

EDIT: Anyway, I think it's Rave Master, which is kinda disappointing because I had thought I had remember a cool new series to watch. Oh, well. Thanks.
 
Can anybody explain me, what "Christmas edition" (or
"Christmas Special") is?
Is it additional series or something dealing with subs..?

Actually, i`m searching for "Uninhabited Planet Survive: Christmas Edition" (or Mujin Wakusei).
Does anybody know, where i can find a torrent for it?

Im trying to remember the title of this anime I saw once...its about an evil warrior who has a sword that grows in power for each hero he killed.
i saw it about 8 years ago--i remember one particularly nasty battle--the main character was fighting and stabbed a guy in the gut, pulled up, cut him in half- then turned around and choped off a archers head.

its set in the dark ages with knights, mages, and archers, so its no real country in particular---like a made-up world.
 
I saw a figure today and I was trying to figure out where it was from. Not 100% sure its from an anime but most likely.

Long purple hair with a zippered (but not zipped up) hoody.
She was holding 2 small short blue guns in both hands.

Not sure if the clothing gives away anything but I was hoping the weapons would be enough to identify it or at least give some possibilities.
