i thought so too.. but i can't find her... and their clothes look different...
 
I remember watching this as a kid on cartoon network about 6 years ago..

This is as much content of the anime as I can remember:

Earth is under attack by some random alien force, and there is a guy with a green diamond-shaped star which he uses to get this kind of robot, gundam-looking (but nowhere near as big) suit. With this suit I think he got a staff..

I think he had a sister who died, and she had a star like his which was red? He has an arch enemy as well I think who is more powerful than him.. He's a mysterious guy and was picked up by a crew in a spaceship. He basically kept his thoughts to himself and was quiet.

If anyone has any names about this that might spring to mind, that'd be great because I can just search them on google images.. Would be a big help.

I thought maybe it was something like Outlaw Star? But i'm not so sure, that's the first thing that popped up into my head when I read that

Okay. I know I've posted this before, but I forgot whether anyone responded, and it's too much trouble to go back and search for the post. ANYWAY...

This is a OVA or some thingie. Not a series, I don't think.

It had three fantasy/horror stories in it.

In one of them, there is a king who has three daughters. Every morning, the daughter's shoes are worn out, and the king is getting fed up with buying them new shoes. After a while, he decides to find out if they leave at night. After buying them new shoes, he locks them in for the night. The next morning, the shoes are still worn out. So he gets REALLY upset. He searches the room for a secret exit, but cannot find one. He then hires someone to follow them or something. This man hides in their room, I think, and watches as a stairway opens up in the floor and the girls, in a daze, walk down it. He follows them to another world with trees that grow gold and diamonds or something. He finds them dancing with handsome men, but upon closer inspection, he discovers them to be monsters. He saves the daughters, and goes back, and as proof that he was there, he brings back the diamond/gold/whatever leaves. Okay?

In another, three brothers are caught by a demon or something and taken to hell and have to solve the Beelzebub's riddles to get free or something like that. (more vague on this one)

In the final one, it has something to do with a girl, and an owl who makes a tree into a house for her... And a witch in a castle, and the owl is really a prince... Or something. Heh.. Also vague, I know.

ANYWAY... Can I get a little help on this?^^
 
Ok...so I already posted somewhere else and I didn't know that I wasn't supposed to...ha ok here goes:

I've been racking my brains for 2 hours and I searched online for more...but I can't seem to remember this one anime! Ok, so it's about this girl who has a lot of misfortunes. The first episode is her in a spa room and then she falls off the bench and dislocates her hips. She tries to move toward the door to open it but she can't cause her arms are helping her move. She tries to open the door with her mouth but then someone turns the knob at the moment and she disloactes her jaw.

Another episode I remember is where she had to keep a pet boa constrictor named Mike. One night the Boa tried to eat her so she had to find a way to get her to cough her up. Blah blah blah...
Another one: She's sitting in a barrel of hot water with two other girlfriends of hers and they shoot up into the air...
 
Ok,im trying to find the name of this anime...

It was a anime about this girl named Mika,who was on this spaceship and they fought like these alien thingys and there were rings,lots of rings...All i remember was that it was on Tech Tv (know as G4) two years ago along with Betterman and Magicial Shopping Arcade Abenobashi.
 
Quick Google search with the words "Mika" "rings" and "anime" revealed the title Geneshaft which also appears in the list of anime broadcasted by Tech TV (G4)

That first one is exactly one of the anime's that I was looking for that I posted about a month ago.

No one helped me with it.

It seems that this topic is more for requesting rather than answering.

I've still been trying to find it.
 
About a two or three years or so ago I came across an anime in Anime Insider. It didn't have a big section, but it was like towards the back and it had an image. I don't remember much, but I remember that it was sci-fi, and there was a boy and a girl, the boy was in red clothes and he was helping the girl up a hill or mountain or something. All I remember that it was about two starcrossed lovers during a war.

It didn't look like Voice of a Distant Star.

I'm just wondering if anyone can hlep me out, don't go out of your way to look though, because then I'd have to feel bad that some one helped me out alot.

All I know is that her name is Niko. I have a few pictures of her from the time when I would go hunting for nekomimi images but I don't remember the source. I'm not sure if it's from an anime/game, it could easily be just a fan creation.
 
A not so quick search for the words "G.rev Ltd." revealed that it's a game company. The character belongs to the game Senko no Ronde

Thanks, I found out a bunch about it now. It was suppose to be for Dreamcast, but now next gen. Btw, I believe that's a male...
 
Oh Lawd! And here I though I got used to the Japanese's way of making hermaphrodite-like characters o____O A shameful moment for the otaku in me, but a great step forward to reaching normality ;/
