Visions of Escaflowne,Chrono Crusade,Celestial legend ceres has an angel and a goddess i believe
why dont you read the Angel Sanctuary manga?,theres about 21 angels and 6 demon main characters
Legend of Crystania:Chaos Ring Trilogy has 3 angels...ssorta.Theres the White Crane goddess that looks like a 1 winged angel,irum whose arms become wings,and Jeniba who sprouts wings from her back(Jenaba is the only 1 in the prequel Legend of Crystania the movie)
DN Angel is good too(fyi:Toto has an angelic appearance when she 1st appears in the manga....in the anime she's a bird >.>)

Im trying to think of two cartoon series I watched when I was younger. (both around the mid 90s)
One was a mech show about a how earth was taken over, happened though a betral I believe. The rest of the series is about how a squad of soldiers with mechs try to free earth again.
the other is aboat a barbaian with a pet phoenix and some friends that help him fight snake people.
