Finding Anime Names & General Anime Q&A

Hello~

This is my first time posting here... not really a 'fan' of anime. I've been having bits of a memory from an anime come back from when I was a young kid, and its really bugging me. I need your help!

I'll recall what I can from the anime~
It was a dark, grungy sci-fi about punk mice in the slums of some huge, industrial society. There's a love story involved between the two main protaganists, and at the end they destroy a big robot/monster thing with her voice and his guitar. Other bits of things I remember... some fat, whory mouse on rollerskates trying to hook up with the protaganist mouse... mice running around some fountain thing... and a train.

I've been searching the net for leads for 2 hours now, and I don't think I'll find any leads on it from googling/exploring. I'm not sure if the anime I'm looking for is Japanese, American, Afgani, or otherwise. If you -any- of what I remember rings a bell, please reply. I'm desperate here!

yep that's what it is! thanks. but i didn't remember the animation was that bad.
