I have noticed on some fashion shots, the setting is in abandoned buildings or inside mansions. I wonder how photographers find these locations. Do they have to call the owner and ask for permission, do they pay to use it for the day?
I am just wondering because I am running out of locations to do photo shoots (I mostly shoot outside) and I needed to know how to go about being able to shoot in places like these.
