Finding a military pen pal in Iraq/Afghanistan?

I'm a civilian looking to find pen pals overseas to write to. I've looked at some links advertising them, but many seem to be outdated or have very few contacts. Anyone know of a good way to find a soldier to correspond with? I should note that I'm married, and am not looking for a dating service.

You are married and should not be pen palling with male soldiers. I doubt any females will want to pen pal with you. You might give the soldiers bad ideas, I doubt they will be too interested to pen pal anyways. Plus it might not be so cool with your husband. Having that said, go on myspace, and search Iraq and Afghanistan. People who are deployed there, invite them as friends in the subject line put "would you like a pen pal?" and go from there.
