B bears New member May 19, 2010 #1 Given that the resistances total 400N find the magnitude of the constant force needed to accelerate a car of mass 800kg from rest to 20ms^-2 in 15 s. I got 1466.7N, but it should be 1470. Is it a rounding error somewhere or did I go wrong? :S
