I assume you are looking for a specialist who treats scoliosis...? As with any spinal issue, you want to look for a doctor who has fellowship training in issues of the spine and back. This will usually be either an orthopedic spinal specialist or a neurosurgeon who specializes in the spine. The fellowship training means that a surgeon has completed additional training that focuses strictly on the spine and back. As a result, he/she will devote most or all his practice to seeing patients with back or spine issues.
I would suggest you get on the internet and look at the various sites for scoliosis. You will see that there are several organizations devoted strictly to scoliosis. Some of these will list specialists in your area. You can do a lot of research these days that will help you find a qualified doctor. You can see their credentials, where they went to school, got their training, etc. Pay attention to the websites. Some are much better than others. Look for the ones that do not have commercial sponsors.
