I'm considering being a sponsor for my uncle's wife. I have absolute trust in both of them, however, he's just getting his feet on the ground financially. Does anyone know if I would be financially responsible for a situation where she is hospitalized and they are unable to pay? I think the answer is "yes", but wanted to get others' thoughts.
