I'm going on my 2nd year at a community college in California. I did the FAFSA for 08-09, and I received my grants. I also did it again for 09-10 school year.
Normally, students are in school for 4 years, right.
Because I'm planning to double major, it's going to take me 3 years to prepare myself for transfer. I really want to be well off in my majors.
How long can a student get the FAFSA-- Federal Pell grant?
As for me, I know it'll be 3 years in community college, and maybe 3 years at the University I go to-- hopefully 2 years. Will I be able to get assistance possibly all 6 years with financial aid (talking about grants, maybe work study, and loans I guess)?
I know the Cal Grant is for 4 semesters total only.
