I came from India six months back on a permanenet residency visa with high hopes but as time passed by my all hopes are becoming weaker and hazy.
I am an IT professional since last 6 years but I am struggling to get a job here in IT. Australian employers dont give any weightage to overseas experience. The result of which is I am jobless and earning between 500-800 $ a month in a below average casual job. I dont know what to do and centrelink cant give me any assistance as I am a permanent resident. I feel devastated some times and all the work which i did seems like a piece of shit in front of Australian employers and Job Consultants.
Please advise me what to do, any help would be highly regarded .I feel ashamed of posting this here but i cant help.
