Financial Assistance For School?

I'm about to start beauty school, but the school i'm about to go to does not have financial assistance they only provide a loan service. My question is can I still apply for a grant for school even though the school I'm going to be attending do not have financial aid available? this might be a stupid question, but idk,lol
